Greece

Whew... It has been a while since I have been able to get to a computer. Well, Greece was ok. I did not throw all that great but things were still good. I ended up throwing 18.88m (61'11'') which was good for 4th place. I actually had a nice foul on my first throw. It was 64' and just outside the left sector line. Oh well. It is very comforting to know that the season is over. It just got so hard, struggling through the entire outdoor season. Training and work were just too much for me this year and it was hard to stay on top of my technique and strength.

Right now, I am in Budapest. I have a train to catch tomorrow morning that will take me to Zagreb. I will stay in Croatia a little bit before I come home on August 10th. I am definitely ready to be home. I miss my family, my friends, and my girlfriend. This has been a long summer, but also very enjoyable. Getting to visit different countries all over the world is truly a blessing.

So now for the next edition. I will be shutting down this blog after one more post in the next couple of weeks. When I get home, I will be visiting Louisiana for 2 weeks. During this time, I will be constructing a website to post news, pictures, schedules, etc. I will also introduce a new fundraising idea to help support my run for the 2008 Olympics. I can't give all of the details just yet, but there will be t shirts and more!

Until then, take care! See you soon...
